Auteur Studies makes tools for people who cut short-form video. Two products, and an honest line on each.

Atlas

A week planner and performance index for reels, stories and posts. You put the week on a board, and once a post has gone out you log what it did — so the next decision is made against your own numbers rather than a feeling.

Status: in development. The page you arrived on is its product page.

APX

A daily planner that stores nothing. Your day lives in the page while it is open and in a link you choose to copy — open that link anywhere and the day comes back; close everything without copying and it is gone. Paste days back in and the month draws itself as a map you can pull back from or push into.

If you make short-form video, you can log a reel as you cut it and five craft rules check it live, while the edit is still fixable. It can also measure a clip you hand it — first cut, tempo, contrast — reading the file on your own device.

Status: finished, tested and installable. Not yet hosted on this domain, and not in either app store.

About the numbers on this site

The homepage shows "14 posts measured", a median reach and an engagement rate. Those are sample values. They are there to show the shape of the product, not to report a result — no real account has been measured and published here. If you are evaluating this, do not read them as evidence of anything.

Saying so costs nothing, and it is the rule both products are built on: state the number, then say how much weight it can carry — never the other way round. Every reading APX prints carries the count of days behind it. Its five craft thresholds are derived from five to fifteen hand-authored rows, and the app says so on its own face rather than in a footnote.

What the products do with your data, and what this website does

APX keeps no account, no server and no database. Nothing you type reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go.

This website is a separate thing. It is hosted by Wix and behaves like an ordinary website. The privacy properties above are claims about the products; they are not claims about this page. One sentence should not be asked to do both jobs.
